Christmas Day

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

we interrupt our regularly scheduled programming for an important holiday message

We'd like to take moment during this joyous and hectic holiday season, as we approach the end of another year, to say thank you to you, gentle reader. I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to make this page a part of their regular internet experience. Knowing that someone out there finds this entertaining somehow makes it seem worthwhile to continue wasting time on it.

Around this neck of the woods folks are celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah right now. More Christmas than Hanukkah, actually. But anyway, if you're into that whole Christmas spirit, you know, scantily clad girls in Santa hats, all that sort of thing, there's a whole lot more of that type of that holiday fun going on on our tumblr at:

Happy Holidays!

a Christmas tree is better

Why a Christmas tree is better than a man

1. A Christmas tree is always erect.
2. Even small ones give satisfaction.
3. A Christmas tree stays up for 12 days and nights.
4. A Christmas tree always looks good - even with the lights on.
5. A Christmas tree is always happy with its size.
6. A Christmas tree has cute balls.
7. A Christmas tree doesn’t get mad if you break its balls.
8. You can throw a Christmas tree out when you're done with it.
9. You don’t have to put up with a Christmas tree all year.

Why a Christmas tree is better than a woman

1. A Christmas tree doesn’t care how many other Christmas trees you've had.
2. Christmas trees don’t mind if you use exotic electrical devices.
3. A Christmas tree doesn’t care if you have an artificial one in the closet.
4. You can feel a Christmas tree before you take it home.
5. A Christmas tree doesn’t get mad if you look up underneath it.
6. A Christmas tree doesn’t get jealous if you enjoy other Christmas trees.
7. A Christmas tree doesn’t care if you watch football all day.
8. A Christmas tree doesn’t get mad if you tie it up and throw it in the back of your pickup truck.
9. When you're done with a Christmas tree you can throw it it to the curb.

the birth of Jesus

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
