Holiday Apocalypse 2012

Okay, boys and girls, the holiday season is now in full swing. Hanukkah begins next Saturday, and Christmas is just around the corner after that. Then, it's the holiday everybody celebrates, regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof: New Year's. But none of that matters. In case you've forgotten, the world will be ending on December 21. This was foretold by the Mayans, a now extinct civilization in South America, so it is, of course, a certainty. And, in case you've any doubt that these are, in fact, the end times, please read the following:

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Luke 21: 25-26

So, as you can clearly see, this passage refers to recent extreme weather events, such as Hurricane Sandy, and obviously foretells the astronomical phenomenon that will destroy us all in less than three weeks. But fear not, gentle reader, we are here for you. We intend to continue to comfort you and entertain you to the very end. Spend your final days and hours on the internet. And and as you do, remember to visit us from time to time, here and on tumblr.  We will be bringing you a variety of holiday themed entertainment and inspiration for what we like to think of as "Holiday Apocalypse 2012."

And as this will be the end of this blog, as well as all other blogs, we'd like to take a moment to thank you, gentle reader. There would've been no point in doing this without you. So, we'd like to thank everyone who's ever been entertained by this, and especially those who have taken the time to come here on more than one occasion. Best wishes to you all, thank you, and Happy Holidays!
